What kind of photos should I send?Guidelines for the Best Reference Photos To create a truly meaningful and accurate portrait of your pet, high-quality reference photos are essential. Here’s what to keep in mind when selecting and sharing images: Clear and In Focus: Photos should be sharp and free from blurriness. Clear details of your pet’s face, eyes, and fur texture are crucial for capturing their unique personality. Natural Lighting: Use photos taken in natural light to avoid shadows or harsh artificial lighting. Outdoor photos during overcast days or well-lit indoor shots near a window are often ideal. No Red-Eye: Avoid photos with red-eye or heavy flash that might distort your pet’s eye color or expression. The eyes are the soul of the portrait, so capturing them naturally is key. Head and Torso in Frame: Please include your pet’s head and upper torso in the shot, ideally from head to mid-chest. Full-body photos can lose important facial and chest details, which are essential for capturing your pet’s personality and features. Accurate Colors (when choosing watercolor style): Ensure that the colors in the photo represent your pet’s true fur and eye colors. Natural lighting will help with this, as artificial lighting may alter the colors. Where do I send my reference photos to?Send your photos to office@vanillerygarden and add your pets name to the title.

How long does it take to receive my portrait?Generally the creation process of each portrait is 1-2 weeks. If you need it sooner, please let me know via email: office@vanillerygarden.com

How long does shipping take?If you´re in Europe, it should be there within a week after I bring your portrait to the post office. For the rest of the world it can take anything between 5-12 business days. (Highly depends on the time of year. As we all know times like Christmas or Black Friday are insane and take longer.)

How much does shipping cost?Within the EU, A4 formats are 15€/17$. A3 formats are 20€/22$. Internationally A4 formats are 20€/22$, A3 formats are 30€/32$. All shipping is tracked.
