3. Refunds and Cancellations
Due to the customized nature of each pet portrait, refunds are not generally offered. If a client wishes to cancel during the initial sketching phase, a cancellation fee equal to one-third of the commission price will apply. Once the painting process has begun, the client is responsible for the full payment, regardless of cancellation.
4. Timeline and Delivery
Artworks are typically completed within 1-3 weeks after receiving the initial payment, although this may vary during peak times, such as the holiday season. Once finished, artworks are shipped with tracking, and estimated delivery times are as follows:
-
Domestic: 1-3 business days
-
EU: 3-6 business days
-
International: 6-14 business days
Please note that while I strive to meet these timelines, I cannot guarantee specific delivery dates and am not liable for unforeseen shipping delays.
5. Revisions and Approval Process
Revisions are available during the sketching phase only, allowing clients to preview and adjust aspects of the artwork before the final painting begins. Regular updates will be provided via email, WhatsApp, or Instagram DMs to ensure client satisfaction. Once the final artwork is approved, the piece will be packed with a Certificate of Authenticity and prepared for shipping.
6. Use of Reference Photos
Clients are responsible for providing reference photos to which they hold the appropriate rights. Photos should be clear, taken at eye level, and preferably capture the pet from the head to mid-chest for best results.
7. Liability and Insurance
Vanillery Garden does not assume responsibility for delays in delivery once the artwork has been dispatched. In the event that an artwork is lost in transit, I will work with the client to explore options, including possible re-creation of the piece. For damages sustained during shipping, I will communicate directly with the client and work with the shipping carrier’s insurance policy to determine appropriate solutions.
