ABOUT
Natalie Bayer-Neumann
Natalie’s journey with art and animals began in her childhood, surrounded by beloved family pets who inspired her earliest sketches.
As a teenager, she developed a passion for watercolors, drawn to the medium’s fluidity and vibrant expression. Later, in her 30s, her path would deepen further as she connected her quiet, longtime interest in Zen with the practice of Sumi-e, a Japanese ink art form that captures spirit in the simplicity of each brushstroke.
For Natalie, mindfulness isn’t just a trend; it’s a grounding, daily ritual that helps her navigate life’s anxieties with intention and presence. Every portrait she creates—whether in watercolor or ink—is infused with this meditative practice, honoring the deep bond between humans and animals. Through her art, she brings a touch of Zen to others—a quiet, lasting reminder of love, presence, and the beauty of simply being with our beloved companions.
